Each month, the Narrow Gauge Book Cooperative hosts the Spadefoot Story Slam community, sharing stories based on a theme, selected at the previous month’s Slam. While inspired by the Moth Story Hour, our monthly meetings are not a contest, but instead are a way to come together and practice sharing, and deep listening.

The theme for May is Postage. Do you love getting mail? Sending mail? Share a time when you received the best surprise in the mail, or a time when you had a post office fiasco. Reflect on what postage means to you, and we encourage creative interpretation of the theme!
