The Narrow Gauge Book Cooperative is proud to host the Spadefoot Story Slam, a community gathering dedicated to the art of storytelling and the power of deep listening on Saturday, January 17, 2026.

Inspired by the Moth Story Hour, this monthly event is a non-competitive space for neighbors to share true stories from the heart. This month’s theme is Regret. We invite you to bring stories of misadventures, roads not taken, or those mischievous choices you should regret—but were absolutely worth it anyway. Stories should be true as you remember them and spoken rather than read. Whether you have a 10-minute tale to tell or simply want to listen, join us for an evening of creative community connection.
