Inspired by the excitement of the upcoming Winter Olympic Games, this year’s festival is all about celebrating the champions, icons, and heroes of winter sport. From speed to strength, teamwork to triumph, Legends of the Ice captures the energy that makes winter sports truly legendary!

Highlights Include:

• The Race on the Rio: Participate in or cheer on racers in the famous Rio Frio 5K on Ice, conducted right on the frozen Rio Grande!
• Live Sculpting: Watch talented artists create incredible ice art live in downtown Alamosa throughout the weekend.
• Fire and Ice Bonfire: A spectacular Saturday night display to light up San Juan Avenue
• Other Activities: Enjoy the Polar Plunge, the Ice Carousel, and more fun winter festivities!
