Get ready for a brand-new tradition in the San Luis Valley! Two of Alamosa’s most beloved events—Summerfest on the Rio and the Rio Trio Triathlon—have joined forces to create RioFest.

This expanded festival brings together the best of outdoor recreation, live entertainment, and amazing artistry for one massive weekend of fun at the scenic Cole Park.

• Cost: Free admission to the festival grounds!

What to Expect June 6th

• Battle of the Bands: 4Pm-7PM
• Music & Main Stage: Enjoy a diverse lineup of live bands throughout the weekend. Grab a lawn chair, kick back, and soak up the tunes.
• Arts & Crafts Fair: Shop from dozens of regional vendors offering everything from handcrafted jewelry and pottery to unique Colorado-made goods.
• The Rio Trio Triathlon: Watch (or compete!) as athletes take on the Rio Grande in this unique multi-sport challenge that now serves as the high-energy heartbeat of the festival.
• Family Fun: Activities for all ages make this the perfect weekend kickoff to the summer season.
