Immediately following the annual Independence Day parade, the Young Professionals of Alamosa (YPA) invites visitors and locals alike to Cole Park for a high-energy Semiquincentennial bash. This regional celebration blends small-town hospitality with modern festivities, featuring a local vendors, live music, and interactive family fun to commemorate this historic national milestone.

Saturday, July 4

• Independence Day Parade – 10:00 AM, Main Street
• Park Party Kickoff – 11:00 AM, Cole Park
  • Main Stage: Local musical performances begin.
  • Marketplace: Explore independently owned craft beverage and market vendors.
• Family Adventure Zone – 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM
  • Features a bubble foam pit, bounce houses, face painting, and water activities.
• Community Contests – 12:30 PM (approx.)
  • Register on-site for the Cornhole Tournament or the classic Pie-Eating Competition.
• Holiday Fare – 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM
