The Narrow Gauge Book Cooperative is pleased to host the release of the fifth issue of HeartThrob, a zine produced by Hysteria Heart Press.
Hysteria Heart Press, co-owned and operated by Allison Cruse and Jean Alger, launched in September of 2024. Their first project is the quarterly zine: HeartThrob.
2025’s theme was Elemental, and the issues were Fire, Water, Air, and Earth. The theme for 2026 is Place, and the first issue of the year is On the Road – art and writing that explores what it means to be on the way to somewhere.
At the release party, artists from the issue will read their work and speak about their process. Light refreshments will be served, and you’ll have a chance to purchase a copy of the On the Road issue, and copies of the Elemental series as well!
