Take a step back in time and experience the origins of Alamosa as it was in 1878, when the railroad first brought life to the valley. During this immersive gathering, people from the community come together to recreate the sights, sounds, and stories of the city’s founding. Through reenactments, historical displays, and shared storytelling, attendees are transported to an era when determination and innovation laid the groundwork for the beautiful city that stands today, reminding everyone that Alamosa’s story truly began on the rails. Its an event you won’t want to miss!
