The Narrow Gauge Book Cooperative is pleased to announce Danielle Trodick as our featured artist for May 2026.
Trodick’s art will be up in the Narrow Gauge from May 1st to May 30th. On May 1st, there will be a come-and-go reception from 4pm – 6pm, which is the perfect opportunity to see Trodick’s work and chat with her about her process.
About the Artist:
Danielle Trodick is a local artist from the San Luis Valley, where her passion for painting first began and continues to grow. Her work is rooted in a deep connection to the landscapes and wildlife of Colorado, often created both en plein air and in the studio. She is especially drawn to the colors, forms, and traditions of Southwest art, which inspire much of her style and subject matter. Through bold, vibrant color, Danielle strives to capture not only the physical presence of her subjects but also their spirit, energy, and essence. Each piece reflects a sense of place while exploring the beauty of the world that surrounds us.
