What’s Happening?
Over the past several months, Visit Alamosa, in partnership with Solimar International, has led a comprehensive planning process to create a Five-Year Tourism Strategy that will guide the growth and stewardship of tourism in Alamosa County.
This effort included in-depth research, data analysis, and extensive community engagement. More than 650 inputs were collected from residents, tourism partners, and visitors through surveys, interviews, and workshops. The process also reviewed key regional planning documents to ensure the strategy aligns with local and regional priorities.
We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed time, ideas, and local knowledge to help shape this plan. Your input has been invaluable in developing a strategy that reflects our shared vision for the future of tourism in Alamosa County.
