The Alamosa County Chamber of Commerce is housed in the historic depot located at Cole Park in downtown Alamosa. This building was donated to the Chamber by the late Carl Helfin. It is a replica of the Mancos, Colorado railroad depot. The Colorado Welcome Center is now located on the corner of 6th and State Street; welcoming thousands of visitors each year. The Alamosa Chamber is specifically designated to help promote new and existing businesses and is restructuring itself as the “hub” for building community, commerce, and leadership in the 21st century. Alamosa is a small town with a big heart with much to offer, says the Executive Director.
