Rio Grande Scenic Railroad

The Rio Grande Scenic Railroad excursion train rides take you through breathtaking mountain valleys and passes on miles and mile of historic trails.  The steam and diesel trains transport you to charming and historic western towns from the heart of the San Luis Valley.

Trains depart from Alamosa to the scenic mountain town of La Veta, or ride the Valley Steam Flyer to Monte Vista or the Cumbres Connection to Antonito.  Access to the Roots and Boots Music Festival is available from Alamosa or La Veta. Tickets may be purchased online or by calling 1-877-726-RAIL.
