Arts and Culture

Arts and Culture reveal another dimension of the San Luis Valley's history, development, and creative spirit.  Both art and culture is depicted through the glorious display of the Stations of the Cross Shrine in San Luis. Visitors may experience the award-winning Creede Theatre producing the best of contemporary and classic plays, as well as the Theatre at Adams State College, who strive to redefine the roll of live theater on a college campus. 

Festivals and events highlight the summer season, expressing the true spirit of the communities who embrace each celebration.  The agriculture and food also defines the region with the essence and flavors of many generations.
