On Tuesday, June 5 Venus will pass in front of the Sun, which has only been witnessed 6 other times in recorded history. The next time this event will happen won't be until 2117, so Adam's State University will be hosting a safe, free viewing of this phenomenon at the Zacheis Planetarium. Telescopes, eyepiece projections, and sun-viewing glasses will be provided while supplies last. The viewing starts at 4:00 P.M. and will go until sunset.
