Election of Board, nominees may be added from the floor by any person eligible to vote

Committees develop budget requests and submit to Executive Director

Exec. Director prepares budget, approval by Budget Committee(includes allocations made to committees)
BOD authorization and approval of committees created by Executive Committee
BOD goes before ATDB/LMDB to request funds for 2008. Request to include business plan, 2007 ytd financial reports and 2008 projected budget.

Approval of Budget by Board
Unexpended balances in any budget allocations for 2007 revert to the general fund unless Directors make specific provisions.

Business After Hours Mixers
The Ambassadors are currently developing a Business After Hours monthly mixer. This will be an excellent opportunity to meet other Members and develop loyal business partners and customers while you enjoy an evening of socializing.
We are currently accepting applications for host sites. If you are interested in hosting a Business After Hours mixer, contact the Ambassador President, Cindy Schreiber, at members@alamosa.org or 589-3681. You can also contact the Chamber staff at bluskys@alamosa.org or 589-3681.
The Mixers will be held monthly on the last Thursday of the Month beginning at 5:00 p.m. starting in April ! Mark your calendar!
Chamber Board of Directors Meetings
The monthly meetings of the Board of Directors are open to Members. The meeting is held the third Thursday of each month at 3:30 p.m. at the Chamber of Commerce offices.
Joint Board Meetings
The Board Members of the Alamosa Chamber of Commerce, Alamosa Tourism Development Board and Alamosa Local Marketing District come together on a quarterly basis to plan their collaborative efforts. Alamosa Downtown Merchants, Inc. Board of Directors Meetings
The monthly meetings of the ADMI Board of Directors are open to ADMI members. The meeting is held the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 a.m. at the Greenspot Garden Center at 711 State Avenue. Annual Alamosa Chamber Member Meeting
Mark your calendar for the evening of September 6, 2006
The Chamber’s annual gala event and Member meeting is held each September. The event includes an informative meeting, the annual election, entertainment and a fine dinner. Members look forward to attending all year long. This is an impressive gathering of the area’s business and government leaders in a gala atmosphere.
An invitation will be sent to all Chamber Members. Opportunities for you to promote your business at this event will be included.
Committee Meetings
Members are encouraged to roll up their sleeves and help with the upbuilding of commerce and civic interests in the area. Please consider joining other Chamber Members at a committee meeting. Share your ideas, hear other’s ideas and offer your expertise, talents and energy for the important committee projects.
