2009 Depot Remodel

We are pleased to announce the Colorado Welcome Center in Alamosa has finally moved to it’s permanent home in Alamosa’s historic downtown train depot.

The future home of the Colorado Welcome Center and the Rio Grande Scenic Railroad is currently being remodeled. This historic depot will house the ticketing offices for the passenger operations of the Rio Grande Scenic Railroad, and the Colorado Welcome Center, providing visitor information about all of the wonderful things to see and do in the San Luis Valley.
